HTC, the mobile phone company that seem to pop Windows Mobile devices out of their production line faster than you buying a new phone, is going to release another smartphone which is equipped with the latest available Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. Having the Window’s Mobile as the OS makes the device more inclined to productivity applications.

The QWERTY keyboard would make texting all of your friends and e-mailing business contacts very much easy on the thumbs and fast too. A Qualcomm 528MHz processor is fast enough that would make every operation non the device fast and snappy. So whenever you would like to open the email app, you wouldn’t have to wait seconds for it to load. The QVGA screen would allow crisp and vibrant images to show and is in landscape orientation like previous HTC Windows Mobile Standard devices like the Excalibur and the Cavalier. a 2megapixel camera is included for some impromptu picture taking and equipped with a 256MB built-in storage space, you would have plenty of room to stuff your pictures or applications in. Of course, a microSDHC slot is included and can actually support up to 16GB so expansion wouldn’t be a problem. The device has an A-GPS which would come in handy in case you would need to ask directions from your phone because you are too smart to ask for directions to go to that restaurant for your date. However, since it is A-GPS, it would need to get assistance from the network which this device handles well thanks to its HSDPA capability enabling coordinates and maps to load easily as well as surfing on the web would be an easy task even for graphic intense sites. There is also Bluetooth2.0 for connecting devices and WiFi in case you need some wireless connectivity which is almost present everywhere. It is said that the HTC Snap would be released anytime soon this quarter.
